Welcome to www.craigz.co.za. These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the Craigz website, purchase a product, or book an experience through us. Please read them before placing an order or confirming a booking.
Craigz offers artisanal products and experiences inspired by Cape Town and the Western Cape. You can contact us at enquiries@craigz.co.za or 082 711 8585.
We aim to describe our products and experiences accurately. Because some products are handmade or use natural materials, small differences in colour, grain, shape or finish may occur. Photographs are illustrative, and screen settings can also affect how colours appear.
We may update product descriptions, availability and prices. The price and details presented to you when you place an order or confirm a booking will apply, subject to any correction agreed with you if an obvious error is found.
Placing an order is a request to purchase. An order is confirmed when Craigz accepts it and sends you confirmation. If a product is unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative, a revised fulfilment date or a refund.
Prices are shown in South African rand. Any delivery charges or other applicable fees will be shown before you confirm your purchase. Payment methods available to you will be displayed at checkout or agreed with you when ordering directly.
Available delivery or collection options, costs and estimated timeframes will be provided when you order. Please supply accurate contact and delivery details so we can fulfil your order.
Let us know as soon as possible at enquiries@craigz.co.za if an order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, so we can help resolve the issue.
Your rights under applicable South African consumer law remain in place. If goods are defective, unsafe or do not meet the standards required by the Consumer Protection Act, you may have the right to return them and choose a repair, replacement or refund within the period provided by law. gov.za
If you change your mind about an online purchase, any applicable cooling-off right under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act will apply, including its conditions and exceptions. Please contact us at enquiries@craigz.co.za to arrange a return before sending an item back. Food products and other goods may be subject to different rules depending on their nature and the circumstances of the purchase. gov.za
Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you request a custom design, we will confirm the agreed specifications, price and estimated completion time before work begins. Please check those details carefully. Changes requested after work has started may affect the price or completion date.
Any cancellation or return of a custom-made product will be handled according to the applicable law and the circumstances of that order. Your rights concerning defective or incorrectly supplied goods still apply.
If Craigz offers guided walks or other experiences, the price, meeting point, duration, requirements and any specific booking conditions will be communicated before you confirm a booking.
Outdoor activities depend on conditions such as weather and route safety. If we need to change or cancel an experience, we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative or refund, as appropriate.
You may cancel an advance booking by contacting us. Any cancellation charge will be reasonable and assessed in line with applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the booking. gov.za
Please use products for their intended purpose and follow any care or safety information provided with them. A walking stick should be selected and used with regard to the user’s needs and the conditions underfoot.
If you join an outdoor experience, please follow the guide’s reasonable safety instructions and tell us about any relevant accessibility needs before booking so we can discuss whether the experience is suitable. Nothing in this section removes any legal responsibility Craigz may have to you.
The Craigz name, website text, photographs, graphics and other original content may not be copied or used commercially without permission, unless the law allows it. You may browse the website and share links to its pages.
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which will be available on www.craigz.co.za.
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; their content and policies are managed by those third parties.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you have a question or complaint about a product, order or experience, please contact enquiries@craigz.co.za or 082 711 8585 so we can try to resolve it.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on www.craigz.co.za. Changes will not retrospectively alter an order or booking already confirmed, unless required by law or agreed with you.
